Who is this for? This incentive is to support publishers in retaining their publishing mail volumes.
How do you qualify:
- Mail at least 95% of the volume mailed the year before
- Mail at least 250k items during a 12-month period.
- At least 16% of the mailed publication must contain editorial content (or 30% editorial if using the Subscription Magazine mail service).
Time Period: 12 Months.
How much could you earn back on your Publishing mail?
Postage credits of up to 2%.

Postage credit rates are subject to Royal Mail’s discretion and approval. Postage credits will be awarded as discounts off the access rate* only and available as a retrospective credit to use against future mail campaigns.
*The access rate is the charge Royal Mail apply to every piece of mail entering their network, and this varies by weight and service.

Publishing Incentive for New Title Launches
Who is this for? This incentive is perfect for businesses that are launching a new title. Additionally, this incentive can be optimised by businesses interested in testing a brand-new audience for their existing publications (this should be an audience that the company have not previously targeted by mail).
How do you qualify:
- Mail a minimum of 4,000 items
Time Period: 12 Months.
How much could you earn back on your marketing mail?
Postage credits of up to 30%.
You can obtain retrospective postage credits at a rate of 30% off the access price* for the first 12 months and 10% for the next 12 months when launching a new title.
Additionally, if businesses are testing a brand-new audience for an existing publication, and it is an audience that they have not previously targeted by mail, they can earn a 30% postage credit for incremental volume tests.
