How we supported Hello Fresh in optimising Royal Mail Incentives to make savings on their mail marketing

Context:

We have worked with Hello Fresh for over 4 years, since the infancy of their company. Through transparent conversations and application of our expert knowledge of the industry, we have built a trusted relationship with Hello Fresh that continues to deliver them significant savings on their marketing mail, year-on-year.

The Approach:

Using our expert understanding of mail, we were able to quickly advise Hello Fresh on Royal Mail incentives that would be applicable to their marketing activity and support their marketing strategy. We supported them in applying for, and utilising, the ‘Growth incentive’: this incentive enabled them to earn postal credits by increasing their marketing mail volumes year on year.

Utilising this incentive meant that Hello Fresh could quickly grow their mail marketing efforts and reach, without this consuming their marketing budget. It also allowed them to advertise their new product offering too.

The Result:

Hello Fresh sends over 26 million mail marketing packs per year. Through the application of incentives, we have supported them in earning over £300,000 worth of Royal Mail postal credits, which they have been able to redeem against their mail marketing activities. Furthermore, Hello Fresh has begun to use our affiliate magazine, Lifecycle, to advertise their product to a targeted audience, who are just about to move house.
